Meet the Owner

My name is Donny Pauldine and I’m the founder of Vantage Protective Consultants. I’m a 6-year Army veteran who served as a Military Police officer, and I’ve worked in protective roles across both small and large scale settings- including securing federal buildings during high- threat assignments. I was born and raised right here in Central New York, and after years of protecting others on a larger scale, I started this business to bring that same level of security and preparation to everyday people, families, and small businesses in our community.

I’ve worn the uniform. I’ve stood watch in places where you don’t get a second chance to get it right. That experience taught me how to assess risk, stay composed, and protect under pressure.

But the truth is- you don’t have to be in combat or chaos to feel vulnerable.

I’ve seen how easily fear creeps into everyday life. The feeling that something’s off. That someone might come back. That you’re not sure what you’d do if things got worse. I’ve lived enough life to know these feelings are real- and that most people don’t know where to turn when they have them.

I built this business for people like that. For the ones who take care of everyone else. For the ones who don’t want to live in fear.

I don’t sell panic, I offer clarity. I help people feel prepared, grounded, and in control.

Vantage Protective Consultants was founded on a mission that goes far beyond locks, alarms, and assessments. It’s about empowering people to protect what matters most. After six years serving as a Military Police Officer and Detention Specialist in the U.S Army, including protective assignments at Fort Leavenworth, and both the U.S Capitol and Supreme Court, I’ve seen firsthand how critical preparedness can be when the unexpected happens.

But I’ve also seen how often individuals, families, and businesses are left out of that equation- unsure of what to do, what to buy, or who to trust when it comes to their safety.

That’s why I created Vantage Protective Consultants: to bring real-world security insight to everyday people- not through fear tactics or overpriced hardware, but through education, guidance, and personalized planning.
